~ In 2024, a dear friend and member of the disability community passed away. After his death, Katherine supported our friend group and his family with logistics, physical and emotional care, and the organization and preservation of his material items. This included her attendance at the funeral and many hours spent cleaning out his home. Katherine’s work was important to our grief process and made space for us to rest while we knew the details were in competent hands. I highly recommend working with them. ~
~Katherine played a vital role in my family’s journey of my mother’s passing. She transformed what we were going through from a tragedy and a crisis into a celebration of my mother. She helped us to heal from trauma, she created space for connection, respite, and reflection. She provided so much comfort for my mother and all of those engaging with my mother’s transition. I encourage everyone to have a death doula and I can’t imagine a more skilled and generous one than Katherine. ~
